Big 12 Recap: Kansas def. West Virginia
Despite being down a player and having to forfeit line 3 doubles and line 6 singles, Kansas defeated West Virginia 4-1 in the first round of the Big 12 Championships.

Kansas had to win at lines 1 and 2 to earn the doubles point. Both lines won their sets 6-3 for the doubles point.

In singles, the only point that Kansas dropped was the line 6 default. Although, Janet Koch went down 0-4 in the second set before bringing it back to 5-4. Tess Bernard-Feigenbaum clinched the match before Koch could close out her match.

Kansas will face #2 seed, Oklahoma State, on Friday, April 28 at 4:00 pm
