Head Coach

Lee Taylor Walker is in his third season as head coach of the TCU women's team. Before joining the Horned Frogs, he was the head coach at Memphis where he completely rebuilt the program. The Tigers hadn't had a winning season in over 7 years. Walker turned that around and his team reached #22 in the ITA rankings. He also led the Tigers to the NCAA tournament where they won the first round, and he coached Memphis's first ever NCAA singles champion. TCU is already an awesome team, so we can't wait to see what Lee does with the Horned Frogs and their program.

Team Notes

TCU is ranked #25 and is the only team in the Big 12, and one of only 4 teams this season to beat the number 1 seed and #7 ranked Texas Tech. The Horned Frogs took it to the Red Raiders and beat them 4-1 just two weeks ago. This team may be seeded 5 in this tournament, but they are more than capable of winning the Big 12 championships. We're really looking forward to seeing what they can do here in Oklahoma.

TCU will play number 4 seed, Texas, on Friday April 28.
