Head Coach

Joey Scrivano is in his 15th season at Baylor and was promoted from Head Coach to Director of Women's tennis in 2016. In his time at Baylor, the Lady Bears have been the Big 12 regular season champions 11 times and have won the Big 12 Tournament 8 times. He has also pushed the Lady Bears to 2 final four appearances at the NCAA tournament and 6 quarterfinal appearances. Scrivano also coached Zuzana Zemenova, the first unseeded player to win the NCAA singles title.

Team Notes

The Lady Bears are headed up by the Senior powerhouse, Blair Shankle. Baylor started out the season unranked, but when they did break into the rankings at the end of February, they also broke into the top 10. The Lady Bears are currently on a 7 match winning streak and are seeded #3 in the Big 12 tournament. Baylor will play the #6 seed, Oklahoma, on Friday, April 28.
