The girls semifinals at the Juan Carlos Ferrero tournament are set, and each player boasts an impressive resume heading into this weekend's matchups in Alicante, Spain.

Olga Danilovic

(SRB) [1] - Current world No. 15
Danilovic has a career-high ranking of No. 12 in the world in the ITF junior rankings. She made it to the semifinals of this tournament last year and is the heavy favorite to win the tournament this year. She is the current Orange Bowl and Roland Garros junior doubles champion and has made it as far as the round of 16 in the Junior Grand Slam tournaments (she retired while winning matches in the past two slams, so there's no telling how far she could have made it). Danilovic has also been playing on the ITF pro circuit and has won her past two pro events. Her most recent was a $15K tournament in Turkey right before this week. She took out the No. 3 seed and No. 308 ranked player in the world for that title. Danilovic is also the daughter of former Miami Heat player Sasha Danilovic.

Eva Guerrero Alvarez

(ESP) [2] - Current world No. 26
Alvarez is the 2015 Trofeo Juan Carlos Ferrero champion and lost last year to the current world No. 1, Anastasia Potapova. She has a career high of No. 21 and is coming off a Grade I win in Croatia last week. She is also no stranger to the Junior Grand Slam tournaments and has made it as far as the round of 32. Alvarez has also been playing pro events and she won her past two $10K ITF events.

Malene Helgo

(NOR) [12] - Current world No. 101
Helgo has a career-high ranking of No. 29 and was a member of the 2016 Norwegian Fed Cup team. She has been in the been draw of all four Junior Grand Slams and has made it as far as the round of 32 in those top tournaments. She also plays at the pro level and has made it to the finals in three pro circuit events.

Clara Burel

(FRA) - Current world No. 192
Burel ousted the 16th seed on her way to the semis here at the Juan Carlos Ferrero Tournament. In her previous ITF Grade I, Burel made it to the round of 16. She has played a lot of Grade 4 and 5 tournaments, so she is newer to these top-tier tournaments. Burel faces a tough matchup against Danalovic next, and it will be interesting to see how she handles this new experience.
