The U.S. Open started with 10 players with college tennis ties in the main draw of singles.
After day one, we have two men still in the tournament, John Isner (Georgia) and Kevin Anderson (Illinois). The remaining players (Steve Johnson, Rajeev Ram, Ellen Perez, and Nicole Gibbs) will all see action today on Day 2.
